Eugenia kim is considered to be the first Korean American popular for her fashionable and trendy handcrafted hats. Eugenia kim was born and brought up in Pennsylvania. She completed her college from Dartmouth College pursuing psychology as her subject in 1996. She dreamt of becoming a doctor till the time she had to stay for one month in hospital due to the back injury that she suffered while snow sledding on a cafeteria tray in a golf course.

She started her career from Allure Magazine while doing a part time course at Parsons. Her life met with a change when she shaved her head in 1998 due to a bad haircut and then designed a hat out of feather in order to cover her head. She was appreciated and honoured by many store owners for her work. Finally proprietor of the boutique known as New york city called her with all her hat designs and had a deal with her to sell them. After this incidence Eugenia kim decided to have her own set up.

Kim had her first store as a part of East Village of New York in 1997. As she was from the family where everyone was a doctor at the initial stage for almost around a month Eugenia kim and her work was not accepted by her family. After a long drawn struggle when the gate to success opened for her she made her way to be so big that today there are almost 100 boutiques under KIM's name. Her work is regularly published in W Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue and ELLE. 

She had claimed the award under the name Perry Ellis for her phenomenal work in field of accessories after she had launched shoe line in year 2004. According to one of the interview she gave style is all about being efficient, clashy casual and tranny-like. According to EUGENIA KIM wearing anything which does not suit you or make you feel uncomfortable is a bad choice. As per her clothing should not hinder your presence and still be complementing.

Considering the words by Eugenia kim it's good to have a role model but better to trust your choice on style and the best way to define is to have a check on your mother, her bank balance and yourself.

Eugenia kim's fashion had been staged on Fashion week the collection was covering street style released in Paris, London, Milan and New York. This was the part of collection released in 2015. In 2014 again in fashion week she staged her fall collection inspired from the street from Paris to New York. EUGENIA KIM had been on cover for Vogue magazines many a time and was also covered by bride magazine for their edition for April 2016. She had also stamped her name on the W Magazine cover page in 2015.

EUGENIA KIM's collection is famous for her unique hat designs worn by almost all big celebs, her trendy shoes collection and other street accessories. She had been famous for her work and dedication and style statement she defined gave a new look to the street from Paris to New York.
